Integrity, respect for creators, rights governance and social value guide our long-term operations.
Way Wave is a cultural and social enterprise centered on animation, comics and original IP. We connect creator development, academia-industry collaboration, local culture, digital technology and business mechanisms so good ideas can become finished works, sustainable IP value and measurable social impact.
“Rooted in integrity, gathering into a wave, creating social value through the original spirit of animation and comics.”
Our first year is positioned as a foundation-building year, focused on talent, content, collaboration mechanisms, AI assets, policy resources and representative cases to establish an operating base for sustainable original IP development.

For works with screen potential, we develop concepts, character settings, stories and early-stage proposals.
We plan positioning, content cadence, audience development, merchandising and long-term partnership paths.
We structure collaborations by term, territory, medium and rights scope, balancing creator rights and commercial viability.
We organize creative goals, work plans, budgets, deliverables and resources into executable proposals.
We combine public interest, education, local culture and corporate themes into socially meaningful content partnerships.
We manage AI assets by version, medium, term, rights scope and quality standards to improve consistency and licensing efficiency.
For Way Wave, social enterprise does not mean replacing the market with charity. It means professional services, commercial collaboration and cultural mission supporting one another. Creator rights, knowledge transfer, local connection and risk governance turn each project into cultural infrastructure that can endure.
Public reporting in 2026 documented the team’s path from reader engagement, school revisits and local cultural dialogue toward transforming the memory of classic IP into talent development, new works and cross-sector collaboration.
Read public report | Fresh Weekly ↗Creator intent, intellectual property and a reasonable working pace are preconditions for collaboration. Rights, resources and execution conditions are clarified before development begins.
Story rhythm, character design, paneling, commercial collaboration and market experience are translated into learnable, hands-on mechanisms for developing creators and completed works.
Reader engagement, schools, local culture and academia-industry collaboration help classic content become an entry point for local participation, Taiwanese originals and new cross-sector work.
Before publishing, licensing, crowdfunding or large collaborations, we assess copyright, production cost, budget sources, delivery capacity and exit mechanisms to protect creators, partners and supporters.
Way Wave combines two complementary axes: creative expertise and operational execution, supported by the core team’s long-term experience in creation, IP, technology, projects and cross-sector integration.
He began studying under Tsai Chih-chung at age 18 and has worked extensively in comics, characters and cross-media content. His signature work YOUNG GUNS built experience across publishing, the market and cross-industry extensions. In 2000, he worked on the officially licensed comic adaptation of Jin Yong’s The Deer and the Cauldron. Today he also turns decades of creative practice into expertise for work diagnosis, talent development and original IP development.
He has long translated engineering, resource integration and project governance into tools and programs that local businesses, commercial districts, creators and organizations can actually use. Public records show work in placemaking, digital transformation, policy programs and technology for public benefit. At Way Wave, he turns creative goals into executable collaboration terms, resource allocation and risk management.
